The Ginger Pig’s three Yorkshire farms are home to a wonderful array of native British livestock breeds - Longhorn cattle; Dorset, Swaledale, Texel and Blue Face Leicester sheep; Tamworth, Berkshire, English Lop, Gloucester Old Spot and Welsh pigs – all slowly reared outdoors.
The exceptional meat sold at their has been skillfully butchered and properly hung when appropriate, and nothing is wasted – the offal, sausages and pies are as prized as the prime cuts.
