Porteña

Previously known as Argentine Folklore, Porteña – whose name means “girl from Buenos Aires” – sells traditional Argentine street food.

Specialities include empanadas (hearty pasties with fillings such as spinach and ricotta, ham and cheese, mozzarella and tomato or beef), yerba mate (a South American infusion drunk from a gourd through a filtered straw called a bombilla), alfajores (homemade biscuits) and dulce de leche (a sweet toffee spread).
