Borough Market is set beneath the railway viaducts between the river Thames and Borough High Street in South East London. It sprawls around an atmospheric series of mazy streets and walkways and as well as the labyrinthine central area there are two more self contained markets.
With a large part of Three Crown Square currently closed for the Thameslink development programme, many of the traders are now housed in the newly-covered Jubilee Market, while the Green Market hosts a wide variety of smaller stalls. Our searchable and printable map will help you find your way around.

The Market is open on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with Saturday being the busiest day. If you find it too busy why not drop in on Thursday and avoid the crush, or visit later in the day when you’re more likely to pick up a bargain?

Parking around Borough is limited, but there are plenty of public transport links:

  • By tube to London Bridge or Borough underground stations
  • By train to London Bridge mainline station
  • By bus to London Bridge, Borough High Street or Southwark Street
  • By foot along the Thames Path on the Southbank or over London Bridge from the City
