What's involved in becoming a Borough Market trader?
The Market has a three staged process for anyone who wishes to be considered to trade at the Market.
The first stage involves filling in a short form to register your expression of interest in trading at the Market. This form will provide you with more information on the Market, the spaces available and what the Market looks for in its traders. It also provides you with the opportunity to provide more information about your business and products.
The Market welcomes expressions of interest from start up or established businesses but before applying, you must be registered as a food business with your local council and have a business bank account.
If it appears that you have what we are looking for, you will then be invited in to discuss your business and products, after which you may be invited to submit your products to an independent tasting panel.
Please be advised that we do not currently have a requirement for bakery and confectionery products; alcoholic, hot or soft drinks; street food operators or caterers.
If you would like to proceed with the first stage of our application process for a Market pitch, please complete this form.
