Food writer and historian, Angela Clutton, is back in the demonstration kitchen this Thursday as part of our Borough Market chefs residency.
Another of the Market’s talented cooks and host of the popular Borough Market Cookbook, Angela has spotted the phenomenal crop of stone fruit in the Market at the moment and has some delicious plans for them.
Her menu will include:
Spiced wild plum sauce for deep-fried prawns or fresh mackerel
Medley of roasted late-summer stone fruits with a chocolate nib and nut crumb
Mirabelle and rosemary ice-cream
Peach and black pudding with fruit vinegar dressing
Join Angela for tips, tastings and recipes at this free cookery demo on Thursday 17th August in the Market Hall, 12:30-2pm.
