Talented Italian cook and prolific food writer Ursula Ferrigno, will be in the demo kitchen on Friday 11th August focusing on lovely leaves.
Cooking up a storm of seasonal delights, Ursula will be exploring the different eating qualities and matches for a selection of the more unusual leaves you can find in the market.
Her creative menu will include:
Pink grapefruit, watercress and pecorino salad with hazelnuts
Poached salmon with black rice, chervil and rocket
Mu shu pork on little gem leaves
Salad of anchovies, peppers and walnuts with chicory
There'll be heaps of enthusiasm and tonnes of inspiration as Ursula pulls together an array of tasty Italian dishes. And of course there'll be recipe cards to take away, plus lots of tips and tastings. So make sure you stop by 12.30-2pm in the Market Hall.
