Experiment with an alternative festive spread this year.
If by the end of November you’re beginning to tire already of turkey, brussel sprouts and cranberry sauce, Yasmin will provide a welcome respite. She will be drawing on the food she ate in the Middle East whilst researching her book Zaitoun: Recipes and Stories from the Palestinian Kitchen to bring us an alternative festive spread using Market ingredients.
Yasmin's menu will include:
• Red cabbage, beetroot and date salad
• Roast rainbow carrots with herbed yogurt
• Lemon and chilli roast potatoes
• Roast romanesco cauliflower with tahini and pomegranates
• Aubergine and feta kefte
Demos take place every Thursday and Friday from 1pm-2.30pm in the Market Hall. The Demo Kitchen is free to attend with recipes, tips, tricks and tasters to take away with you.
