"Antichristmas" at the Demonstration Kitchen Friday 21st December

Fed up with festive food already, Luke Mackay wants to cook up an antidote to Christmas this Friday at the Demonstration Kitchen.
Using an array of spices sourced from the Market, he figures a hot and spicey North African dish is sure to wake up taste buds and give you an exciting alternative to Christmas fare, should you feel like he does this year! (Ba Humbug!)
Spiced couscous
Bejewelled with pomegranate and pistachio.
Slow roast shoulder of lamb
Encased in a pungent yogurt and cumin marinade.
Pigeon pastilla
Sweet and savoury dish with flaky pastry.
Vegetable tagine
Beautiful gourds and squashes slowly made tender in a perfumed stock.
