In the picturesque village of Burley in the New Forest, apples from the company’s own orchard are pressed during October and November, along with cider fruit from traditional cider orchards in Somerset and Herefordshire. After fermentation, the cider is blended into freshly emptied whisky barrels.
The stall, which sells by the glass or the bottle, offers dry, medium, sweet, Kingston Black, perry and - in the winter months – hot mulled cider, along with a selection of ciders made to the Normandy and Champagne methods.
